New standardised commercial water and drainage procedures announced

From Spring 2010, the Water Companies of England and Wales will follow a standard format for commercial water and drainage procedures, which aims to benefit property professionals dealing with commercial transactions.

The new standardised CommercialDW Drainage & Water Enquiry gives information about all of the water and drainage services to a commercial property, including details on connection status, water quality, basis of charging, location of pipes and whether a sewer or water main is subject to a build-over or adoption agreement, alongside information on service issues.
