Practical introduction to Planning Law and the Planning
Monday 23 November
London
CPD Hours: 3
The broad outlines of the modern town and country planning system were settled in 1947 but the planning system is seldom free from controversy. It has a significant and immediate impact on people’s lives and is criticised frequently as being a constraint on economic development.
This seminar is intended to provide a practical introduction to the non-specialist, including those starting their legal career and those who need to have a better understanding of planning law and related guidance as part of their practice.
The speakers are both leading members of the profession in the planning law field and members of the Law Society’s Planning & Environmental Law Committee.
