  • Explain what information is needed from a client in order to submit an application for registration based on the acquisition of a title by adverse possession
Charges under Health and Social Services Acts

In this webinar you will:

  • Learn how to protect a local authority's statutory charge arising under Health and Social Services and Social Care Acts
  • Gain an understanding of how the nature of the resident's ownership affects the form of protection available
  • Gain an understanding of the application forms and fees required and the register entries that will be made
  • Learn how to have entries removed when the debt has been repaid.
Webinars will run at 10 am, 1 pm and 3 pm. They cost £75 for one-hour CPD.

Online modules

The Land Registry also has the following CPD-accredited online modules available from Monday, 21 September:

  • Learn how to protect your clients' easements effectively on the register
  • Private client and Land Registry issues
  • Protecting your clients' property interests when a relationship breaks down
More online modules will be available from Monday 5 October. All online modules cost £40 each. If you book multiple modules at the same time, the cost will be £40 for the first module, followed by £35 for each consecutive module. Gain two hours accredited CPD on satisfactory completion of the module assessment.
